Meet The Artists of Growing Art Press
One of the consequences of being a sole proprietor is that I am responsible for selecting the projects for the press. I have a pretty strict criteria:
- The project has to evoke a strong emotion in me - laughter, tears, awe.
- The artists have to be willing to take a chance and believe in me as well as themselves.
Each of these artists, and their projects, has passed that test. I've known two of them for years. I met the other two recently, directly because of their projects. Helping each of them realize one of their dreams leaves me feeling extremely grateful.
